Research Experience

Postdoctoral Research (Politecnico di Torino): I am currently working on thermal properties of composite PCMs and DynPCMs for effective Solar-Thermal energy storage applications.

Postdoctoral Research (IITK): I have been working to understand the photothermal response and thermophysical properties of complex fluids/nanofluids, through femtosecond laser-induced time-resolved Thermal Lens measurements.

Ph.D. (Chemistry): I have been working in the emerging field of organic phase change materials for thermal and solar energy storage applications. Probed the effects of nanoinclusion loading concentrations, surface functionalization, shape, and aggregation kinetics on the thermal conductivity and photo-thermal conversion efficiency of nano-inclusion loaded organic phase change materials. Familiar with most of the analytical techniques for characterising organic/inorganic materials.

M. Sc. (Chemistry): Determination of eutectic point of binary compounds.

Additional: Eight years of research experience in studying thermophysical properties and developing superior thermal energy storage materials.
